We are a women-owned business and are passionate about driving sustainable change in the education sector.
We empower teachers with practical tools and strategies based in mindfulness practices to navigate the challenges of their day while prioritising their well-being. Through our tailored Curriculum & Framework Training, Individual Workshops, and Well-being Sessions, we support educators in building resilience, confidence, and balance in their professional and personal lives.
Our mission is to create a healthier, more compassionate environment for teachers, students, and school communities by addressing the critical need for well-being and emotional support in education.
We believe that by investing in the well-being of educators, we’re investing in the future of education itself—helping to shape classrooms where both teachers and students can thrive.
Mindfulness is an active practice that helps us deepen our understanding of ourselves.
When we practice mindfulness, we take our attention inward and reflect on what we call at Mindful Sparks, our Inner Landscape—our thoughts, emotions, and physical responses.
By reflecting on our Inner Landscape, we can practice noticing and naming our experiences objectively and without judgment. For example, instead of labelling thoughts as “good” or “bad,” we change that narrative to an observation: “My mind feels busy, I notice there are a lot of overwhelming thoughts about something that might happen in the future.”
This awareness allows us to make connections.
We might notice patterns, such as how overwhelming thoughts make it difficult to stay focused or lead to less patience with ourselves and others. Over time, mindfulness practices can help reveal these habitual patterns of behaviour in our Inner Landscape and show how they influence our Outer Landscape—our words, actions, and decisions.
By reflecting on these triggers and patterns, we can start making small adjustments that empower us to live more intentionally.
Mindfulness practices become a tool for supporting our well-being, fostering resilience, and creating a more connected and fulfilling life.
Our Mindful Moments and Mindful Conversations training is accredited with The CPD Certification Service in the UK and on completion of your training, you will receive a certificate of attendance.
At Mindful Sparks, our training and workshops are designed to meet your needs, whether you’re part of a school or seeking independent professional development. Here’s an overview of how our sessions are structured:
We offer training sessions at your school and can be conducted for the whole school community or smaller groups in person and online, depending on your requirements.
We run independent workshops both in person and online throughout the year. Stay updated on our social media channels to see when our next sessions will be held.
Prefer a one-on-one session or a small group with friends? Drop us an email to schedule a personalised training session at a time that works for everyone. Please note that this option may cost more than our group training sessions.
Our training includes an in-depth exploration of our curriculum and framework. You’ll participate in an example lesson led by your trainer to better understand how to use and adapt the materials effectively in your teaching practice.
Upon completing your specific training, you’ll receive access to the relevant documents and resources, giving you everything you need to implement what you’ve learned with confidence.
